Who We Are
APeel Drama Group was formed in September 2012 to provide an opportunity to develop stage skills and experience in the performing arts
for the people of Little Hulton and adjoining areas.
APeel aims to challenge all people to develop Confidence, Creativity and Consideration for others, in the context of drama and the performing arts.
APeel is for people of all ages, races and social backgrounds who are keen to develop their interest in drama and performance in a relaxed yet constructive way.
Whilst partaking in Amateur drama you also have lots of FUN and without realising it can develop ‘transferable skills’ as well. Skills such as:- Creativity, Personal Development and Social Development
There are many opportunities to be involved Acting, Directing, operating a lighting or sound desk, Writing, Set Building and Painting
Or even just as a social member who would like to just come along and see how it all comes together to create the incredible and award winning productions we present.
Our season currently runs from September to June each year and comprises of a Full Length Play in September, our amazing Pantomime in January and another Full Length Play in May. We then round of the season by presenting a Dinner Theatre experience where we perform two short plays, usually termed One Act Plays, with a meal in between. These plays are then entered into Festivals where they compete with other groups for various awards. See our Awards page to see how very well we have done.
So if you think this is something that may appeal to you,
Why not come and join us.
Just come along on a Monday or Thursday night between 7.45pm and 9.30pm
