Set in a Northern pub over one unforgettable evening, Two is a witty and moving portrait of love, loss, and the stories people tell to get by. A stream of colourful locals pass through for their pints, while the pub’s landlords reveal a relationship under quiet strain.
With just two actors playing 14 characters, this modern classic brings an entire community to life, blending sharp humour with moments of unexpected tenderness. Two is a powerful reminder that everyone has a story - and every story matters.
Our two actors are Geoff Millard and Lisa Barlow, award winning actors both, recreating the play that was the first performed on the APeel stage in 2012 when they formed the group. The pub atmosphere is reflected in the seating, with seats around tables and a meat and potato pie or cheese and onion alternative served in the interval. it promises to be an evening not to be missed.
